How well do you know your property names in Malaysia?
Even though the current property market has been relatively slow, there remains a staggering number of developments throughout the country.
And with each new development, property developers need to come up with creative names to make them stand out.
If you own a property in Malaysia with an exotic sounding name, it can be a challenge telling your Grab driver which gate to pull up in front of.
Most of them will use names that end with “Gardens” or “Ville” or “Meadows” to conjure an image of tranquility and living with nature.
Others will add “D-apostrophe” to make it more posh-sounding. And many more names will borrow heavily from Latin or Swedish words.
In fact, many of them could be mistaken for an IKEA product name!
