When Mdm. J and her family moved back to Malaysia, she asked our interior designer to do up her kids’ bedrooms to get them settled in.
\n<\/p>\n

Mdm. J is a freelance fashion makeup artist who recently moved back to Malaysia.<\/p>\n

She and her husband wanted to make sure their children (a boy and a girl) got settled in as smoothly as possible.<\/p>\n

To do that, she got the help of an interior designer listed on Recommend.my to decorate their bedrooms and attached bathrooms.<\/p>\n

The children spoke with me and showed me some of their belongings so I could get an idea of their personalities. The owner also gave me some guidelines on where the beds and desks should be. Boy’s Bedroom<\/h2>\n

“The boy has a quirky side to him, so I designed the room to fit his personality,” said Valarie.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Taman“The original room colour was white, but I painted it with Miss Mustard Seed’s milk paint (colour: flow blue)<\/span>” she added.<\/p>\n

A simple spotlight track and roll-up\u00a0blinds were added to the windows and sliding door that leads to the airwell.<\/p>\n

Boy’s Bathroom<\/h2>\n

A replica reindeer head was hung in the shower area to continue the ‘quirky’ theme of the son’s room.<\/p>\n

A concrete floor and concrete wall created an industrial feel.<\/p>\n

Girl’s Bedroom<\/h2>\n

Paisley patterned wallpaper was the main feature of her daughter’s bedroom.<\/p>\n

In addition, the designer combined new decorative items with a selection of the girl’s belongings to maintain a familiar feel to the room.<\/p>\n

A concrete sink with full length sliding door overlooks the swimming pool and sink.<\/p>\n

Behind the concrete sink, a glass sliding door opens up to the en-suite bathroom\u00a0with wood-like flooring for the shower area.<\/p>\n
