No reply to request for work for several days
They communicated to say they were taking the job and showed up before I accepted. They showed up ready to remove the machine, no diagnosis on site. Was told I could refuse or pay 80.00 ringets. They did end up diagnosing on site after I hesitated to let them take it. Said it was the drum shaft and would need to be repaired at their shop. I pointed out the Door Gasket Seal, stating I absolutely wanted it replaced as well. I was repeatedly told it would take no more than seven days and that I would have a quote for parts and repairs in a day or two at most. Over a week later after asking repeatedly, I finally received a quote for the parts that did NOT even Include the gasket. I was also told it could take 6 days to receive the parts and that labor would be 1-3 days. I then reminded them I needed the gasket. It took a half day for them to communicate to get clarification on my request. 2 more days waiting for the amended quote. I finally told them to return the machine which is when they provided the updated quote. Over two weeks without the machine. No apology. No refund of the 80 ringets and no work done. Awful experience. Awful communication. No way I will ever use again.

Claimed they have to take the unit back to station for the issue I mentioned. While the exact booking had the issue described as is. Could have informed before hand

Extech Appliances Service Sdn Bhd is an efficient company, who will arrange and handle the job assigned in a good way. Besides that, they are very responsive also in replying message.

Extech collected my TV, promising a turnaround time of a few weeks. They held on to my unit for a month before informing that the spare part ordered was defective. 3 weeks later, no update until I followed up and they refunded and returned the TV unrepaired. 2 months wasted for nothing.

Had to constantly follow up, unresponsive and ended up not performing the task promised. Not recommended.

Following up on the status of the repair unit is necessary, and I believe this should be initiated by your company rather than by the customer.
