The force behind Hubble Productions is Malek Abdullah, a Malaysian with 17 years’ worth of industry experience. He began his career as a Production Assistant for a local production house, and subsequently went on to be a Production Producer, producing award winning TV programmes:

Having garnered experience in TV, he became actively engaged in the indie circuit in 2003, as Cinematographer for various Short/Feature Films such as Amir Muhammad's banned musical documentary "The Last Communist"​, Tan Chui Mui's award winning short film "​ A Tree in Tanjung Malim"​ and Liew Seng Tat's debut feature "Flower in the Pocket" to name a few.

Malek then worked in Singapore to get a more hands-on feel for technical facilities plus the experience working with well-known industry people. He shot many TV programmes for local Singapore and Regional networks such as Mediacorp TV Singapore; Disney Television; Discovery Channel; AXN Asia; National Geographic Channel; The History Channel; ESPN-Star Sports; Asian Food Channel; Crime and Investigation Channel; Biography Channel and among others.

Malek has shot in 12 countries, 45 cities spanned across 2 continents.
