I have 2 years’ experience working as Creative Designer at DotMe Group, I was responsible to manage and provide directions to the creative team and to ensure the objectives and deliverables are well accomplished. This responsibility is also related to the proper cultivation and development of an overall creative and business direction for the company. Although, this position
takes me to a different career path from what I have had before, which is in financial industry, it has always been my goal to work as a designer due to my passion on creative and I have always enjoyed Art from an early age. It has surely helped to develop my creative skills. I have worked solely on graphic design projects for websites for the past 12 months. I have greatly enjoyed the opportunity to be creative and innovative on the website design projects. Beside that I also have experience designing brochures, company logos, billboards.
I am comfortable with Mac OSX as well as Windows. In addition, I have in-depth knowledge about almost all top designing software, including the following: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Muse. Good communication and listening skills are paramount for a graphic designer, and I excel in both verbal and written communication. I am a team player to the core, but am also at complete ease when working alone. Prior to that, as mentioned in my resume, I have had the chance to work in several Investment Banks such as Maybank Investment Bank Bhd, Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd and also BIMB Securities Sdn Bhd since early 2009 to end of 2012. During these 4 years horizon as equity dealer and analyst, I have managed to learn and experience the real ‘Investment Industry’. Analysing business sectors, evaluating company, monitoring micro and macroeconomics trending, preparing in-depth financial modelling and forecasting were some of my key responsibilities. In addition to that, I was also responsible to make recommendations in investment decision on whether to buy or sell equities. These recommendations were based on my research and use of a ten years financial model used to analyse “what if” scenarios. This work took advantage of my data analysis skills, my ability to interact with the senior managers across the financial industry, my ability to think strategically, and ability to work with very detailed data while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
