NOTE : UNIT IN KOTA KINABALU, SABAH - One Jesselton Condominium. It will be ready around Aug/Sept.
Hack and re-tile all 3 bathrooms; laying of laminate wood flooring for the entire house; cabinet building in all rooms and open concept kitchen; hacking of two rooms ( just one wall/semi-wall each); sealing of a room/door to convert a small room into a walk-in wardrobe; adding electrical power points and lightings.
Basically, those pictures represent the hardwares/designs I like. Perhaps I share with you the theme that I prefer based on my background. I grew up in an oil palm plantation in Sabah where the influence of British colonial homes and timeless classic chic are styles that I naturally gravitate towards. On the other hand, I also like modern clean designs which are simple and timeless. This is the link to the photos of the different rooms that I have compiled and they are styles/concepts that I like : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-0R2yB4yT-AevuOhbYfn73mMLRmJxRgD?usp=sharing
Mostly likely, I will change the tiles of all the 3 bathrooms as I really like hexagon tiles and clean cut ones which are timeless. For the kitchen, I will have an open concept kitchen with an island which mostly like sits a downdraft cooktop (most likely Miele KMDA7774FL induction cooktop). I may most likely need to work with Miele from West Malaysia to have the island's downdraft cookstop installed, so the design of the island has to be corroborated with Miele. For the floor in the living room and the rest of the rooms, good quality laminate wood (about 8mm - 10mm) will likely be my choice instead of tiles.
Here is Miele twoinone cooktop:
