The Guarantee

When you hire one of our service professionals and pay using Recommend Pay, you benefit from the following protection guarantees:

    • In the event of an incomplete job
      If the service provider is unable to complete the job, we will find you another service provider who can complete the job request.
    • In the event of unsatisfactory service
      If you are unsatisfied with your service, we will make arrangements for a re-service by the same or alternative service provider or;
      Get up to 100% reimbursement for the total amount paid.
    • In the event of accidents, damages and/or theft during the service
      If something goes wrong during the project, you can claim up to RM100,000 public liability insurance.

Who qualifies for this guarantee?

Anyone who hires a service professional through and pays using Recommend Pay will qualify for this guarantee. For further details, please refer to our terms and conditions.

How do I apply for this guarantee?

You don’t need to apply for anything. As long as you pay the service professionals using Recommend Pay, you are immediately covered.  However, if you have paid the service professional directly, this guarantee is not applicable.

How long is this guarantee valid?

This guarantee is valid for as long as we are holding part or all of the amount you paid using Recommend Pay. With Recommend Pay, we safeguard 50% of your money until you agree to release it to the service professional after the job is done. However, if you have chosen a payment method other than Recommend Pay, this guarantee will not be applicable to you.

How do I make a claim?
When the service professionals ask for the balance payment, you must file a dispute by clicking the “Dispute” button within the project details. Alternatively, you can email your dispute to [email protected] with your details. Please have all your evidence ready as part of the claim process.
